Declaration of Monthly Income UAE: Sample Wording and Signing

A declaration of monthly income UAE offices ask for is your own signed statement of what you earn each month. You sign it before a notary public, who checks your ID and seals it.

It is not an employer's salary certificate. A salary certificate comes from your employer. This declaration comes from you. We have in-house, in person, online and home visit notary public services for it.

Three ways to get it notarised

In person with our in-house notary public

Bring your originals to our office. The notary public checks each signer's original ID, reads the document, watches you sign and applies the seal.

Home, hospital or office visit

Our home visit private notary service comes to you. The same checks and the same seal apply. Home visit price is a quote on request, plus the Dubai private notary government fee of AED 1,000 per trip outside the place of work.

Online

  • Declaration of income: your own statement, signed before a notary public.
  • Salary certificate: written and signed by your employer.
  • Which one: the receiving authority decides what it accepts; check its list first. If it wants the employer's paper, this declaration will not replace it.

Is a declaration of monthly income the same as a salary certificate?

No. A salary certificate comes from your employer. A declaration is your own statement, made before a notary public.

Can I use it for a visa or a company file?

The receiving authority decides what it accepts. Ask it whether a notarised self-declaration is enough before you sign.

Is there an income certificate Dubai PDF I can download?

There is no file to download. Copy the wording above and send it to us.

Do I need to prove the figure?

The notary public checks who you are, not your income. Only state a figure you can support if you are asked.
