This NOC for child visa sample is the letter the parent who is not sponsoring signs, to say they agree to the other parent sponsoring their child's UAE residence visa. There is one version from the father and one from the mother. Copy the wording into your own document.

Three ways to get the NOC notarised
In person with our in-house notary public
Come to our office. The notary public checks the signing parent's original ID, reads the letter, watches the parent sign and applies the seal. We translate it with a legal translator.
Home or hospital visit

Sample 1: no objection letter for child visa, from the father
The sample is only the wording. The office handling the visa decides whether the file needs the letter. Fill every square bracket, and delete lines that do not apply.

Sample 2: no objection letter for child visa, from the mother
Use this where the father sponsors and the office has asked for the mother's written agreement.
If the parents are separated or divorced, change "my wife" in sample 1 to the other parent's name only, and tell us before signing. A court order about custody may matter more than the letter.

What to have ready
- The child's name matches the passport letter for letter.
- The sponsor's Emirates ID number is complete.
- The letter says "residence visa", not "visit visa", if that is the application.
- It is not signed yet. Sign it only in front of the notary.
In the UAE or abroad
How the parent signs it
In the UAE
The notary checks the original ID and that the parent understands and agrees, then seals (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2022, Article 7). We draft, translate and handle the signing.
Outside the UAE
A father or mother living abroad goes to a local notary where they live. The letter is then normally legalised in that country, including a stamp from the UAE embassy, and attested by MOFAIC once it reaches Dubai. The UAE is outside the Hague Apostille Convention, so an apostille cannot stand in for these steps.

Where do I get the NOC for child visa samples?

Does the notary need an Arabic version?
In Dubai the English text goes beside an Arabic version (Dubai Law No. 4 of 2013, Article 27). We translate it with a legal translator.
Does the NOC go with the visa application or later?
It goes into the visa file with the other documents. Ask the typing centre or the visa office when they want it.
Do I need a new letter for each renewal?
The sample covers renewal while the child lives in the UAE. Ask the visa office if it accepts one letter.
