Free Document Templates for Private Notary Services in Dubai

Every private notary Dubai template on this page is free wording you can copy into your own document: child travel consent, NOC letters, affidavits, declarations and powers of attorney.

A template does not replace the signing. It has effect once the signer signs before a notary, who checks the ID and seals it. PrivateNotaryDubai.com has in-house, in person notary public services, online notary public services and home visit private notary services for that step.

Every service, by group

Four groups, one page for each task

Pick the group that matches what the office asked you for. Each page has sample wording, what to bring and the signing steps.

In short

  • Price: the wording is free. Signing starts from AED 600 for an affidavit or declaration and from AED 1,200 for a child travel consent or NOC, plus the government fee on top at cost.
  • Who signs: the person named in the document, before the notary.
  • What to bring: the filled document, unsigned, and your original Emirates ID or passport.
  • Where to sign: at our office, at your home, hospital or office, or online.
  • Language English wording usually needs an Arabic translation.

Three ways to get it notarised

In person with our in-house notary public

Bring the filled document and your original ID. The notary public checks each signer's original ID, reads the document, watches you sign and applies the seal.

Home or hospital visit

We come to your home, hospital or office. See mobile private notary services.

Online

Remote notarisation runs through the official UAE channels, the Ministry of Justice e-notary or Dubai Courts remote. Not every document suits it, so ask us first. See the e-notary guide.

Step by step

How to use a template

1

Pick the document the receiving office asked for. A "consent letter" and an "affidavit" are drafted differently.

2

Fill every square bracket. Write names exactly as printed in the passport, and give passport and Emirates ID numbers in full.

3

Do not sign yet. The signature is made in front of the notary, and a letter signed at home usually has to be printed and signed again.

Family and travel templates

NOC letter templates

A no objection letter says one person does not object to another person's visa, job, travel or study. Each NOC template carries both people's full identity, the exact purpose and a notary signature block.

Affidavit and declaration templates

Power of attorney templates

UAE law does not give a power of attorney a fixed lifespan. It lasts for the term written into it, so put the end date, or the event that ends it, into the template.

Sample wording

Authorisation letter sample for the UAE

Many small tasks do not need a power of attorney. A school or building management office will often accept a simple authorisation letter. Ask whether they want it notarised. More versions are on the authorization letter sample page.

AUTHORISATION LETTER

Date: [date]

I, [full name as in passport], holder of passport number [number] and Emirates ID number [number], authorise [full name of the authorised person], holder of passport number [number] and Emirates ID number [number], to [describe the single task, for example collect my son's school certificate from (school name)] on my behalf.

This authorisation is valid from [date] to [date] and covers only the task described above.

Arabic and bilingual drafting

The language of a notarised instrument is Arabic, with conditional exceptions (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2022, Article 5). Dubai asks for an Arabic translation by a certified translator next to the English text, and both versions are signed (Dubai Law No. 4 of 2013, Article 27). We translate with a legal translator registered with the UAE Ministry of Justice.

Notarising a translation in the instrument carries a federal fee of AED 50 per page (Cabinet Resolution No. 19 of 2024, item 11). See legal translation.

Mistakes to avoid

Mistakes we see on filled templates

  • The name order does not match the passport.
  • Dates are left open. Give the departure and return dates, not "the summer".
  • The wrong person signs. An NOC for a child visa is signed by the parent who is not sponsoring.
  • The document is signed before the appointment.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are the templates really free?

Yes. Copy, fill in and print them as often as you need. You pay only if you ask us to draft, check or notarise it with you.

Is a private notary Dubai sample letter accepted as it is?

A template is a starting point. It becomes a valid document when the signer signs it before a notary and the notary seals it. The receiving office may also have its own wording, so check their request first.

Can I sign the template without a notary?

You can sign it, but most offices that ask for these documents want the signature notarised. An unnotarised letter is usually refused for visas, travel consent and proof of address.

Do you have the templates in Arabic?

The templates are in English. We prepare Arabic or bilingual versions on request, translated by a legal translator registered with the Ministry of Justice.
