Free Document Templates for Private Notary Services in Dubai
This library holds a free private notary Dubai template for each family document people ask us about most: child travel consent, NOC letters, affidavits of support, declarations of residency, personal declarations and powers of attorney. Each one has its wording on the page to copy into your own document, with a guide that explains every line.
A template saves you from writing a legal letter from a blank page. It does not replace the signing. Every document here only has effect once the person named in it signs before a notary, who checks their identity and seals it. When you are ready for that step, we can bring the notary to you.

How to use these templates
Pick the document the receiving office asked for
Read their request letter or email first. The name of the document matters: a "consent letter" and an "affidavit" are drafted differently.
Fill every square bracket
Names exactly as printed in the passport, with the same spelling and order. Passport and Emirates ID numbers in full.
Do not sign yet
The signature has to be made in front of the notary. A letter signed at home in advance usually has to be printed and signed again.
Check the language
A notarised instrument in the UAE is in Arabic, with foreign language drafting allowed only under conditions set by the Minister of Justice (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2022, Article 5). Dubai asks for an Arabic translation by a certified translator next to any English text (Dubai Law No. 4 of 2013, Article 27).

Child travel templates
Child travel consent letter
For a child travelling without one or both parents: with one parent, grandparents, a school group or alone. The parent or parents who are not travelling sign it. This is our most used template, and the guide explains each field and the situations where airlines ask for it.

NOC letter templates
A no objection letter says that one person does not object to another person's visa, job, travel or study. People often search for a "private notary Dubai NOC format" because the receiving office rejected a letter with missing details. Our NOC templates all include the full identity of both people, the exact purpose, and a signature block for the notary.

Power of attorney templates
A power of attorney gives another person authority to act for you. These templates cover the wording. The procedure for a power of attorney has its own rules, so read the guide before you print.

For one defined task, such as collecting a document, signing a tenancy or dealing with a bank.

UAE law does not give a power of attorney a fixed lifespan. It lasts for the term written into it, so put the end date, or the event that ends it, into the template.
Sample wording
A short authorisation letter sample for the UAE
Many small tasks do not need a power of attorney. A school, a courier office or a building management office will often accept a simple authorisation letter. Here is a sample you can copy. Check with the office first whether they want it notarised.
If the office asks for the letter to be notarised, the signer signs it before a notary, and the notary adds the seal below the signature.

Bilingual document drafting
Most of our templates are in English. Many offices in the UAE accept English with an Arabic translation, and some want the document drafted in both languages side by side.
Why it matters
The language of a notarised instrument is Arabic, with conditional exceptions (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2022, Article 5). Under Dubai's notary law, the English and the Arabic versions are both signed, and the Arabic comes from a certified translator (Dubai Law No. 4 of 2013, Article 27).
Who translates
A legal translator registered with the UAE Ministry of Justice. Machine translation is not accepted for this.
What it costs
Notarising a translation included in the instrument carries a federal fee of AED 50 per page (Cabinet Resolution No. 19 of 2024, item 11). The translator's own charge is separate.

Step by step
Five mistakes we see on filled templates

The name order does not match the passport
"Mohammed Ali Khan" in the letter and "Khan Mohammed Ali" in the passport is enough for a counter to refuse it.

Dates left open
"Travel in the summer" is vague. Give the departure and return dates.

The wrong person signs
An NOC for a child visa is signed by the parent who is not sponsoring, not by the sponsor.

Signed before the appointment
The signature has to be made before the notary.

An old template
Offices change their wording requirements. If the request letter lists specific sentences, use them word for word.

Questions about the templates
Are the templates really free?
Yes. Copy, fill in and print them as often as you need. You pay only if you ask us to draft, check or book the signing.
Is a private notary Dubai sample letter accepted as it is?
A template is a starting point. It becomes a valid document only when the signer signs it before a notary and the notary seals it. The receiving office may also have its own required wording, so check their request first.
Can I sign the template without a notary?
You can sign it, but most offices that ask for these documents want the signature notarised. An unnotarised letter is usually refused for visas, travel consent and proof of address.
What is the difference between a private notary Dubai form and a government form?
Some authorities publish their own forms, for example for visa applications. Our templates are for the letters and affidavits that you write yourself and then have notarised. If the authority gives you its own form, use that form.
Do you have the templates in Arabic?
The templates are in English. We prepare Arabic or bilingual versions on request, translated by a legal translator registered with the Ministry of Justice.
