Check each point before the husband signs: * **The employer's full legal name**, as on its trade licence, not a brand name. * **The job title** matching the offer letter. * **Both Emirates ID numbers** in full. The husband's must be current. * **A start date**, or "from the date of joining" if the date is not fixed. * **No conditions** such as "only until" a date, unless the employer asked for them. A letter headed "No objection certificate" and one headed "No objection letter" are the same document. Use the title the employer used. ## NOC letter for wife to work: when a notary is needed Many employers accept the letter signed by the husband with copies of his ID. A notary's seal is needed when: * the employer or free zone asks for a notarised NOC, * the husband is abroad and signs there, so the UAE office wants proof of who signed, * the letter is also going to an embassy. Where the employer only wants proof of the husband's signature, a [witnessed signature](https://privatenotarydubai.com/signature-approval-in-dubai/) does the job. At the signing, the notary confirms the husband's original ID and that he is signing freely (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2022, Article 7). This version replaces the job paragraphs: Check the embassy's checklist. Some want a bank statement or salary letter with it, and some want it on the embassy's own form. Questions ## Frequently asked questions ### Where can I find a NOC letter husband sample in Word? The wording is on this page to copy into Word or any other editor. There is one sample for the job letter and one for the tourist visa letter. ### Does the NOC for wife to work in UAE need to be on letterhead? No. A husband writes it as an individual, so plain paper is normal. He can sign before a notary where he is. The letter may then need attestation before a UAE employer accepts it. No. The letter is his statement and must be signed by him. ### Is the same letter enough for a second job? Usually not. The letter names one employer and one role, so a new job needs a new letter.
